Many of the items we make are made from salvaged Beetle Pine wood from the devastated forests in Vernon, British Columbia. Pine beetles have killed millions of acres of pine trees in Canada and Western United States. We use this wood in our jewellery and wedding accessories because we're passionate about not letting these trees go to waste.
And because we want to see the restoration of these forests, we donate $1 from the purchase of every wood item to Tree Canada, in which one of their reforestation projects is the replanting of forests in areas affected by the pine beetles. Come join us in our mission to see greener forests and a healthier planet!
From a small studio in Burnaby, British Columbia, we're passionate about helping urban nature lovers to stylishly connect with nature in their everyday lives through minimalist wilderness-inspired jewellery and wedding accessories.
We create inspiring items with integrity and kindness to you and the planet. We love working with natural and renewable materials like Beetle Pine, Walnut, and Mahogany wood to create minimalist, uncomplicated, and modern designs for men and women that are versatile, affordable, and can be worn everyday.
We believe strongly in creating pieces that will last at an affordable price. We hand select high quality materials from trusted suppliers and make each piece by hand to ensure the best workmanship possible.
We use 14K gold filled, sterling silver, or brass findings in my necklaces. Gold filled components contain 100+ times more real gold than gold plated and are very durable, tarnish resistant, and the finish will never wear off. Gold filled and sterling silver are lead and nickel free, safe for sensitive skin and are worth the investment for pieces that will last for many years to come.
Brass also is long lasting and it naturally deepens in colour with time & wear - this is called a patina - and we believe it adds to the jewellery's character!
CARING FOR THE PLANET
We care deeply about leaving a healthy planet for our kids. So, In addition to supporting reforestation through Tree Canada, we also print all of our printed materials and packaging on 100% recycled paper. As well as reusing shipping materials and using recyclable packaging whenever possible.
